Rogelio Galo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Álvaro Perpiñán made a huge save. Kirill Karamazov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galo Campos in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Telo Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirill Karamazov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Karamázov defense, Telo Nunez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kirill Karamazov. The Karamázov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kirill Karamazov should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Etor during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Karamázov got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Etor. Sporting Burgas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurin Canturri in the 24th minute. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Karamazov in the 31st minute of play. Karamázov were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Sporting Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iván Karamazov took the corner. In the 36th minute Maurin Canturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirill Karamazov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Telo Nunez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kirill Karamazov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 45th minute, Checa Gandia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Galo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mateo Jurgi got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pavel Karamazov. The crowd rose to their feet as Telo Nunez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kirill Karamazov. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Sporting Burgas were furious when Checa Gandia was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 60th minute, Checa Gandia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telo Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pavel Karamazov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Karamazov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Álvaro Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Roger Nueva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Burgas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karamázov the free kick. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Roger Nueva hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Galo came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes Sporting Burgas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iván Karamazov who took care of the corner kick. If Telo Nunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Maurin Canturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Galo in the 92nd minute of play. Karamázov's Iván Karamazov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting Burgas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
