Patagonia's Francesco Colasante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Mineiro in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Célio Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francesco Colasante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo De Cesaris kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cordeara Igay scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Colasante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Renzo Spadafora got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz got control of the ball when Alfredo Corrente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francesco Colasante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mineiro in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Pustak to maneuver through the defense. Francesco Goffredo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Limoeiro-PE FC's Júnior Galego tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Giga Hertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Corrente in the 34th minute of play. Giga Hertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Corrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A.C. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Irwin Pustak got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Cordeara Igay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordeara Igay made a kick off. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Dainelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordeara Igay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th play minute Marcel Passos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francesco Colasante. 0-3. Francesco Colasante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Irwin Pustak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giga Hertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Corrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Júnior Galego kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francesco Colasante. That made the score 0-4 in the 77 minute of play. After some careless play in the A.C. Patagonia defense, Célio Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Colasante. The A.C. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Colasante should have stopped the shot. Alfredo De Cesaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Eger to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Colasante got control of the ball when Irwin Pustak tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Limoeiro-PE FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.C. Patagonia.
