Diamantino Magalhães had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Santa Luis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 53rd minute, Santa Luis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Hélder Custódio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 56th playminute. Santa Luis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Old Boys's zone, Gilmar Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Bidari came out of the goal and Gilmar Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Goldsche. 90 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Custódio came free, but Vinicio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
