An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Vianna in the 19th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Giga Hertz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giga Hertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frederico Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Júnior Galego dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ubaldo Fillol, 2-0. Giga Hertz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL.Sp's Gustavo Sauer. But to his dismay, Gustavo Sauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Frederico Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Sauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Giga Hertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giga Hertz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordeara Igay to make the kick off. In the 67th minute, BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giga Hertz. Giga Hertz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 70 minutes into the game, Mame Picka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limoeiro-PE FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Mame Picka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Eger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Fillol. BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breno Sá got free with Giga Hertz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giga Hertz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Sá in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Frederico Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Giga Hertz. Limoeiro-PE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. Giga Hertz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breno Sá in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Gustavo Sauer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
