In the 9th match minute, Academia Militar MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Torres to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Fabiano Antonini from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Diamantino Magalhães's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 11 minutes into the match, Rank 1's Staffan Söderqwist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Academia Militar MZ's Diamantino Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Pååk in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Bernd Goldsche notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rank 1's Marcus Hagström. Marcus Hagström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Antonini in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Rank 1's Stefan Pååk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fredric Åhman fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rank 1's protests and gave Fredric Åhman a yellow card for diving instead. Fredric Åhman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gilmar Torres scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Hagström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Magalhães having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Arí Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes Academia Militar MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredric Åhman who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Fredric Åhman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia Militar MZ's Diamantino Magalhães did a great save. In the 45th minute, Michael Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rank 1's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilson Amaral was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Militar MZ's players had a chance to rest. Academia Militar MZ's Gilson Amaral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Hagström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diamantino Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Fredric Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Fredric Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Gilmar Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Goldsche in the 75th minute of play. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Söderqwist in the 78th minute of play. Diamantino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernd Goldsche succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 85th playminute. Diamantino Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Söderqwist in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Beckman. Marcus Hagström was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Bernd Goldsche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernd Goldsche really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Academia Militar MZ were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Rank 1 side.
