The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adhemar Furlan during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6thth minute of the game Zbigniew Hatman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbigniew Hatman took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Witalis Tamulewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LFS Sapphire Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Witalis Tamulewicz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raí Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Erland in the 23rd minute of the match. If Zbigniew Hatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 26th minute of play. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hílton Cardoso hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Cerocki came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 32nd minute of the match. After 32 played minutes 27 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Paulista. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on LFS Sapphire Club's corner Witalis Tamulewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raí Bertassi quite easily take care of the ball. Zbigniew Hatman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When LFS Sapphire Club's Witalis Tamulewicz in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 27 de Mayo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Witalis Tamulewicz put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Raí Bertassi. 46 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Hatman notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half LFS Sapphire Club were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fábio da Costa made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Hatman. In the 54th minute of the match LFS Sapphire Club got a corner. 27 de Mayo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanislaw Piwowarski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stanislaw Piwowarski made a great header on LFS Sapphire Club's corner, it was just that 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi managed to reach the ball for a save. Zbigniew Hatmans short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Raí Bertassi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 56 minutes on the clock, Pankracy Piesciuk commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 57th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Piesciuk to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Furlan hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, LFS Sapphire Club's Roland Cerocki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raí Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cerocki in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Cerocki in the 81st minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. LFS Sapphire Club's Roland Cerocki got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Witalis Tamulewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LFS Sapphire Club's Abílio Carreira was substituted for Zbigniew Hatman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 89th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abílio Carreira to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LFS Sapphire Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
