After a defensive mix-up in Tigre's zone, Klaas Jan Klaassen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Orlicki came out of the goal and Klaas Jan Klaassen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertus FC were furious when Jan Knops was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Stefan Orlicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Jan Klaassen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed 冯义兴 got free with Stefan Orlicki in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ted Kamps could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Stefan Orlicki made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Juan Teofilio. 46 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Theissen. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saverio Perpinya to make the kick off. A collision led to Albertus FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Riemer Mulders hit a great ball. Stefan Orlicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Klaassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaas Jan Klaassen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Orlicki having to make a save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
