Carl Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riemer Mulders in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riemer Mulders in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Carlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Wallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leendert Borg made a huge save. Leendert Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Vestberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Jan Klaassen to maneuver through the defense. Carl Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riemer Mulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes DFP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pieter Theissen who took care of the corner kick. Albertus FC's Pieter Theissen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carl Carlsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Timmy Vestberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leendert Borg, 1-0. If Patrick Björkdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind DFP's goalkeeper Carl Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albertus FC's Leendert Borg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Björkdal in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Gertjan van Damme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Jan Knops hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, DFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riemer Mulders got free with Carl Carlsson in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Albertus FC's Klaas Jan Klaassen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pieter Theissen was slow to take the kick. During this time Albertus FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Patrick Björkdal hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Pieter Theissen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Carlsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patrick Björkdal charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Björkdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Björkdal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DFP had won after a very even match.
