After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Arturo Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Umbruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Aznaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of LFS Sapphire Club booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Wieslaw Erland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Umbruso in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Stanislaw Piwowarski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis didn't even have to move. Zbigniew Hatman took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Clis. Felix Clis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arturo Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Aznaro having to interfere. After 27 played minutes LFS Sapphire Club got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Dudkowski. 30 minutes into the game, Tobias Maju cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baltasar Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baltasar Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Bero in the 38th minute. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cerocki in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Umbruso got free with Baltasar Aznaro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Witalis Tamulewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Clis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Umbruso in the 46th minute of play forced LFS Sapphire Club's goalkeeper Baltasar Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Filiberto Bero made the kick off in the second half. Felix Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Hatman in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Erland in the 58th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Felix Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Felix Clis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanislaw Piwowarski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Filiberto Bero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Aznaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Zbigniew Hatman made a precise shot to the right of Felix Clis. La Maquina 9-12-18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Filiberto Bero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Aznaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cerocki in the 82nd minute of the match. If Witalis Tamulewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Clis made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Zbigniew Hatman sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Felix Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Hatman. La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. Baltasar Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Bero's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LFS Sapphire Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
