Spectators: 7772 (Terracing: 5849, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 130) FC Buzău's Emilian Răduța started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Aristide Vlădoiu got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 5 played minutes, Tigre's Guillermo Sal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Buzincu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tigre reached it. Stefan Orlicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Ţiţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Năsturel in the 13th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Gwyn Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Buzincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Răduța kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th play minute Arnaldo Lore came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alex Buzincu. 1-0. Ilie Nasta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Orlicki having to interfere. Stefan Orlicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Nasta in the 25th minute of the match. George Ţiţeica struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Stefan Orlicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. Stefan Orlicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Ţiţeica in the 27th minute of play. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Năsturel in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, George Ţiţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Ţiţeica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ionuț Năsturel struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Stefan Orlicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Lawson came free, but Alex Buzincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Saverio Perpinya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Buzincu. FC Buzău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Perpinya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Stefan Orlicki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Buzău were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Tigre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ionuț Năsturel took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Buzău's corner Ionuț Năsturel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stefan Orlicki quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Ilie Nasta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Nasta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tigre booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castel Prabes didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Buzău's George Ţiţeica got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tigre's Bernardino Dantel got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Saverio Perpinya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tigre had won after a very even match.
