In the 46th minute Alejo Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zbigniew Hatman made the kick off in the second half. Felix Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Cerocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Felix Clis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Cerocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save LFS Sapphire Club from getting a goal against them. After 77 played minutes Zbigniew Hatman shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for La Maquina 9-12-18's Felix Clis to catch but Zbigniew Hatman was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After a rather tough play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Filiberto Bero got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Piwowarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina 9-12-18's zone, Zbigniew Hatman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Clis came out of the goal and Zbigniew Hatman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LFS Sapphire Club's Abílio Carreira was substituted for Zbigniew Hatman. In the 95th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abílio Carreira to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Baltasar Aznaro managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when La Maquina 9-12-18's Arturo Umbruso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. LFS Sapphire Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
