Thomas Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Roşu in the 7th minute of play. Gheorghe Vlăsiu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Callum Marshall in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Bogdănescu saved FC Steaua Pildesti from getting behind. Costin Iorgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Thomas Runeberg made a huge save. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalie prevented a goal. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Traian Roşu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Mohamed Küdüs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Callum Marshall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetzal Flyers Hammers and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Traian Roşu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Thomas Runeberg made a huge save. Valer Uncheşelu made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gheorghe Vlăsiu. The crowd rose to their feet as Costin Iorgu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Runeberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Iorgu to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Callum Marshall made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Bogdănescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Buș in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Olle Godholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Callum Marshall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum Marshall in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a corner. FC Steaua Pildesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Lundqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Johnny Stigsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Bogdănescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Buș in the 69th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Olle Godholm. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Dragalina during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Dragalina to maneuver through the defense. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Callum Marshall got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Callum Marshall off the ground. In the 88th minute, Adam Buș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Quetzal Flyers Hammers getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sean Moore hit a great ball. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Patrick Kelly quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Virgil Dragalina, made in the 96th minute of the game. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
