Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Erberk Tunçkol made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erberk Tunçkol. In the 7th minute, Albano Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vivaldo Cunha hit a great ball. Nichifor Vergulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Barreto having to make a save. Albin Anundsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Octavian Bogdănescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Bogdănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Valer Cobâlcescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. The long shot by Albin Anundsson in the 41st minute really tested Octavian Bogdănescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 46th minute Costin Iorgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costin Iorgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mané Barreto came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Traian Roşu. But to his dismay, Traian Roşu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bernardinho Vaz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes, FC Steaua Pildesti's Valer Cobâlcescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mané Barreto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Steaua Pildesti reached it. Erberk Tunçkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. In the 69th minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Octavian Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Anundsson went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Jefferson Ortiz was substituted for Jorginho Lago. Octavian Bogdănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Anundsson in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Nechifor during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augustin Nechifor hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Anundsson in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Steaua Pildesti were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
