ForestFire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eddy Amos in the 15th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Lane Martinez to score against Uchenna Panter in Predators's goal. 1-1 after 15 minutes. Reed Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalay Sami in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Lane Martinez came free, but Uchenna Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reed Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duncan Nichols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Uchenna Panter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ForestFire defense, Marcel Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reed Molina. The ForestFire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reed Molina should have stopped the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Marcel Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ForestFire's Reed Molina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Çakır Baycan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reed Molina. ForestFire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çakır Baycan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Reed Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çakır Baycan's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Duncan Nichols came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the ForestFire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Nichols couldn't finish the play. Lamar Knapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uchenna Panter having to interfere. Eddy Amos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. ForestFire's Reed Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalay Sami in the 64th minute of play. Lane Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uchenna Panter having to interfere. Lamar Knapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reed Molina had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Çakır Baycan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of Predators booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Nichols didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffrey Yoshioka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uchenna Panter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Reed Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Baycan in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Nichols came free, but Uchenna Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Çakır Baycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reed Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
