An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Nichols in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Costin Iorgu made the kick off in the second half. Octavian Bogdănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russell Stinson during the 73rd minute. But to his dismay, Duncan Nichols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. ForestFire were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Steaua Pildesti for a fine match.
