In the 21st minute, Nicolas Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cícero Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Bogdănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Leal in the 31st minute of the match. Costin Iorgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cícero Toscano made a huge save. Frédson Alagoano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Augustin Nechifor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cícero Toscano. Augustin Nechifor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costin Iorgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nicolas Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Octavian Bogdănescu made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Nicolas Arósio made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Augustin Nechifor took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Toscano. Cícero Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Zé Roberto Moura's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Roberto Moura helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurilio Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
