Jaroslaw Furtok started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Michal Miazga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Ruch Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. Boleslaw Chlapowski had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Albin Anundsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 4th minute, Albin Anundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boleslaw Chlapowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Dziewedik, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Chlapowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleslaw Chlapowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erberk Tunçkol, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of KS Ruch Chorzów booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdzislaw Kajdasz during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Zdzislaw Kajdasz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cezary Duda's late challenge caught a E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Duda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, one of KS Ruch Chorzów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS Ruch Chorzów. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Boleslaw Chlapowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Anundsson got free with Boleslaw Chlapowski in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Vivaldo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Chlapowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Furtok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Vaz's late challenge caught a KS Ruch Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erberk Tunçkol to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Cunha. 57 minutes into the match, Teobald Dyczkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mané Barreto, 3-1. The supporters of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erberk Tunçkol in the 70th minute of play forced KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Boleslaw Chlapowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Albin Anundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boleslaw Chlapowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 95 minutes in the game Wit Dziewedik did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Karol Kornatowski. KS Ruch Chorzów's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
