In the 18th minute Ken Goffeyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Herget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toby Herget came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Beek City's Tostão van Beek. But to his dismay, Tostão van Beek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Ken Goffeyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Herget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Goffeyn in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orville Jacobson in the 29th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Manu Rosseels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Sung Handy. Toby Herget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquín van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beek City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthias Claes in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Julio Barr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beek City's Erik Pannekoek pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 38 minutes into the game, Jasper Agoos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inmortales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beek City the free kick. Beek City made a substitution. Douglas van Beek replaced Erik Pannekoek. 41 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Goffeyn came free, but Toby Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inmortales FC's Larry Colby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Beek City. When Larry Colby came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Inmortales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Colby couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Sung Handy got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Orville Jacobson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manu Rosseels. Beek City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orville Jacobson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
