After 3 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Eckard Döngelli. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Agoos in the 4th minute of play. Tomás Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tim Wiese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Toby Herget had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halldor Sönksen. 14 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Klaus Vielhaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toby Herget narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eckard Döngelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Halldor Sönksen hit a great ball. Eugen Boedefeld charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Boedefeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Boedefeld. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Halldor Sönksen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Garcia in the 32nd minute of play. Eckard Döngelli took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toby Herget. Toby Herget dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Lars Schira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bad Harzburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inmortales FC the free kick. Lars Schira kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Rambo got free with Toby Herget in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Garcia in the 46th minute of the match. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orville Jacobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Halldor Sönksen made the kick off in the second half. Orville Jacobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Wiese having to interfere. Eckard Döngelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Herget having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eckard Döngelli in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toby Herget saved Inmortales FC from getting behind. Toby Herget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eckard Döngelli's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Garcia got free with Tim Wiese in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Inmortales FC's Tomás Garcia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tim Wiese. That made the score 2-1 after 68 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Halldor Sönksen got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tomás Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Wiese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eckard Döngelli in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toby Herget prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Mathias Schulten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Herget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mathias Schulten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bad Harzburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 79th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Boedefeld to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaus Vielhaus during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Vielhaus. Lance Lord could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Tim Wiese made a huge save.
