Gilian Ramps started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Severo Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manu Rosseels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Chap struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Manu Rosseels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Q. T. I.. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Claes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilian Ramps in the 9th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Sotil got free with Manu Rosseels in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manu Rosseels came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Q. T. I.'s Ermegildo Sotil. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Goffeyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Goffeyn in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txatxu saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. With a little luck, Beek City's Manu Rosseels got control of the ball when Nestor Chap tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Beek City's Ken Goffeyn in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Q. T. I.'s goalie prevented a goal. When Tostão van Beek came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Beek City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão van Beek couldn't finish the play. Manu Rosseels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits De Bruyn in the 73rd minute of play. Lisandro Mero's late challenge caught a Beek City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Mero helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Mero. Frits De Bruyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomm Van Aarschot in the 90th minute of the match. Lázaro Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 98thth minute of the game Ken Goffeyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beek City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
