SV Bad Harzburg's Eckard Döngelli managed to work through Sosnowe Klimaty's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eckard Döngelli dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Larry von Stetten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aureliusz Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliusz Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckard Döngelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Walaszkiewicz in the 41st minute of play. Sosnowe Klimaty's Aureliusz Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Richter in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Boedefeld during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
