Serafim Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. GuateFortín's Thiago Almada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafim Mesquita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jailson Koehler during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jailson Koehler hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Valdomiro Duarte took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Opah Gol to make any attempt to save it. Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elias Pagomari came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Várzea F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dirk Behrens was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Várzea F.C.'s Ramiro Rosado got a free kick in the 14th minute. Opah Gol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fernandez came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Opah Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Duarte. After 20th play minutes Valdomiro Duarte shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Opah Gol and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Várzea F.C. defense, Elias Pagomari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafim Mesquita. The Várzea F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafim Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Serafim Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GuateFortín's Opah Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. When Valdomiro Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Várzea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Duarte couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Pagomari in the 34th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Pagomari scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafim Mesquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Luiz Guilherme Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GuateFortín's Dirk Behrens couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Várzea F.C..

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Pagomari made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Várzea F.C.'s zone, Elias Pagomari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Mesquita came out of the goal and Elias Pagomari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fernandez in the 55th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Pagomari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafim Mesquita. That made the score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. Victor Valenzuela kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Valdomiro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Opah Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Fornos in the 70th minute of play. Fellipe Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Filipe Mendonça hit a great ball. GuateFortín's Dirk Behrens got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Almada in the 76th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Várzea F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. 80 minutes into the match, Elias Pagomari notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita. Serafim Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Várzea F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Elias Pagomari scored to the left of an out of position Serafim Mesquita, making the score, 2-5. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, GuateFortín's Elias Pagomari dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. Baltazar Fornos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Várzea F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GuateFortín's performance. The match ended with a win for GuateFortín.
