An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Koren in the 3rd minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Laurențiu Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save NK FOLKROLA from getting a goal against them. Veselko Recko came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Alexandria Team08's Manuel Amânaloae. But to his dismay, Manuel Amânaloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Manuel Amânaloae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Veselko Recko made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Manuel Amânaloae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Veselko Recko. NK FOLKROLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Amânaloae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ferdinand Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Veselko Recko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Amânaloae who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Veselko Recko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiberiu Iuga kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 34th play minutes Manuel Amânaloae shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Veselko Recko and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Nasan Drobnjaković put in a rough tackle. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NK FOLKROLA! Veselko Recko had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcu Bilașco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Manuel Amânaloae lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Veselko Recko. Robert Koren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Laurențiu Popescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Koren to make the kick off. Robert Koren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Silvo Puh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veselko Recko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Amânaloae's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ferdinand Şteţ kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Bogdan Goma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veselko Recko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Manuel Amânaloae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veselko Recko was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Veselko Recko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Goma in the 72nd minute of the match. NK FOLKROLA's Veselko Recko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Amânaloae in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Amânaloae in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veselko Recko saved NK FOLKROLA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Amânaloae in the 83rd minute of play forced NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Veselko Recko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Bore Ristič. When Marcu Bilașco fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Marcu Bilașco a yellow card for diving instead. Marcu Bilașco kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Mujo Tavčar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alexandria Team08's Laurențiu Popescu didn't even have to move. Alexandria Team08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NK FOLKROLA for a fine match.
