In the 6th minute of the match Alexandria Team08 got a corner. Várzea F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcu Bilașco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexandria Team08's Marcu Bilașco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafim Mesquita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Iuri Paranaense hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Marcu Bilașco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita didn't even have to move. Serafim Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amânaloae in the 10th minute of play. Serafim Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Goma in the 13th minute of the match. Alessandro Mandrak scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurențiu Popescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Goma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Mesquita was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Amânaloae in the 18th minute of play. Despite this Serafim Mesquita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafim Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Amânaloae in the 25th minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Várzea F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcu Bilașco was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandria Team08's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Alexandria Team08's Marcu Bilașco to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafim Mesquita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Amânaloae came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th play minute Manuel Amânaloae came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Serafim Mesquita. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Goma in the 32nd minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Alexandria Team08's Serafim Mesquita threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcu Bilașco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Şteţ in the 39th minute of play. Laurențiu Popescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Mandrak in the 41st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Manuel Amânaloae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Goma, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 62 minutes, Ramiro Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Várzea F.C. and the Alexandria Team08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcu Bilașco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafim Mesquita. Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferdinand Şteţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Serafim Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Şteţ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogdan Goma in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafim Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Spirea in the 90th minute of play. Serafim Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Amânaloae went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Alexandria Team08 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
