The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Eger in the 4th minute of play forced Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dénes Kenesei in the 7th minute of play. Guararapes's Paulo Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábián Müller in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richárd Dárdai got free with Paulo Rosa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richárd Dárdai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Paulo Rosa made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Guararapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Eger to maneuver through the defense. If Boldizsár Szabados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dénes Kenesei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Paulo Rosa made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Újlõrincfalva LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richárd Dárdai to maneuver through the defense. Illés Kiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Esteves went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goalkeeper Paulo Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dénes Kenesei. In the 33rd minute, João Vítor Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Paulo Rosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paulo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábián Müller in the 38th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Újlõrincfalva LC got a freekick which was hit by Sámuel Márkus. In the 43rd minute, Rafael Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guararapes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Guararapes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Újlõrincfalva LC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Nunes got free with Illés Kiss in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Újlõrincfalva LC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lajos Sárközi hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Guararapes's Rafael Meirelles tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Osmar Nunes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Illés Kiss came out and tried to block the shot, but Osmar Nunes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Guararapes made a substitution. Cristiano Vargas replaced Delfim Ferreira. 77 minutes into the game, Osmar Nunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Illés Kiss. Osmar Nunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Osmar Nunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Guararapes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Dorian Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Illés Kiss made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cristiano Vargas sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Cristiano Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Guararapes's Osmar Nunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Illés Kiss. Illés Kiss yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. 94 minutes into the match, Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Vargas.
