The audience thought a goal was coming when Cheb El Ouafi got free with Jim Kamps in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Ottens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Mami having to interfere. Mathieu Schophuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Mami having to interfere. With 17 minutes on the clock, Kang Ting Qing commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Springplank FC:s Jim Kamps showed great skill when he stopped Soltani Mami:s penalty. Epifanio Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Resulhan Özdoruk got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ferdi Reis scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jussef Ben Mami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jussef Ben Mami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freek Reitsema in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Mathieu Schophuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springplank FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu Schophuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jussef Ben Mami took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathieu Schophuis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Soltani Mami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Mami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Springplank FC's Jim Kamps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Springplank FC from getting a goal against them. The Salmiyah Power players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Springplank FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb El Ouafi in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Reis came free, but Jussef Ben Mami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Epifanio Clementi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Kamps was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jim Kamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Springplank FC's Jim Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Clementi in the 67th minute of play. Casper Ottens struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jussef Ben Mami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springplank FC. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Ismaïl Hadjadj replaced Cheb El Ouafi. Jim Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munir Abdallah in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Clementi came free, but Jim Kamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jim Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Munir Abdallah in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Clementi in the 88th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Jim Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Soltani Mami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jim Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munir Abdallah, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jim Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munir Abdallah in the 94th minute of the match. Salmiyah Power's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
