The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Vargas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Hermelando got free with Wilfredo Rodriguez in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Jeff Beck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pindobassu EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nilmar Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Eneko having to interfere. If Hugo Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Hechter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 38 in the game by Bruno Hechter from a close distance when the talented Wilfredo Rodriguez managed to make a qualified save. Pindobassu EC's players were relieved. Nilmar Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardino Eneko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeff Beck was the one to do the kick off. Geovânio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Eneko having to interfere. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Chabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovânio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Eneko having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Eneko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Hoffmann. 62 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's Bruno Hechter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Rodriguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Beck to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Nilmar Vargas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Terremoto FC's Bernardino Eneko. Bernardino Eneko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Hermelando came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terremoto FC's Bernardino Eneko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jeff Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindobassu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeff Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Eneko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pindobassu EC's Jorginho Munhoz was substituted for Jeff Beck. Pindobassu EC's Wilian Mendonça was substituted for Geovânio Veiga. If Jorginho Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Rodriguez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Hechter in the 83rd minute of play forced Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Terremoto FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pindobassu EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
