A collision led to Pindobassu EC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nilmar Vargas hit a great ball. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Neyens in the 6th minute of the match. When Fohat Neyen's Romelio Komar in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindobassu EC's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Jeff Beck made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fohat Neyen's Etxeberri Benavides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Derek Neyens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Pindobassu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Romelio Komar came free, but Wilfredo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Pindobassu EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Somayina Cartagena who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Romelio Komar sped through Pindobassu EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilfredo Rodriguez. Quintyn Barrio's late challenge caught a Pindobassu EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintyn Barrio helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 30 minutes, Jeff Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindobassu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pindobassu EC's Etxeberri Benavides threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Víktor Donatello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36thth minute of the game Romelio Komar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romelio Komar in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Rodriguez saved Pindobassu EC from getting behind. Wilfredo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelio Komar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pindobassu EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mário Azevedo in the 41st minute. The supporters of Fohat Neyen booed when Pindobassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pindobassu EC defense, Carlitos p'Bitek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Rodriguez. The Pindobassu EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romelio Komar was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Somayina Cartagena during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilfredo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelio Komar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Rodriguez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fohat Neyen's Romelio Komar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlitos p'Bitek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfredo Rodriguez. That made the score 2-4 in the 85 minute of play. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when Fohat Neyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Hunzinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Hugon Polkoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etxeberri Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pindobassu EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fohat Neyen's performance. The match ended with a win for Fohat Neyen.
