The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pindobassu EC's zone, Pontus Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Rodriguez came out of the goal and Pontus Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Ekegren in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Stor Mønster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilfredo Rodriguez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, Leonardo Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Nilmar Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 96 minutes, Leonardo Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindobassu EC and the Juoksengi players grew even worse after the yellow card.
