Ronaldão Mazza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Oscar Passet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gorbea in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Sebastian Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Bernard came free, but Jacinto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
