In the 14th minute, Uriel Zubiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Gorbea in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Fabian Bernard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Quinito Cifuentes was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Sebastian Gorbea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Gorbea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 28 minutes into the game, Cuatrodeocho's Vergaray Echeto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Passet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Felipo Quiroga lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Felipo Quiroga got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Jorge Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinito Cifuentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Zubiaga in the 40th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vergaray Echeto was the one to do the kick off. Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bernard in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Bernard in the 54th minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Quinito Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iratze Lillo to maneuver through the defense. Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bernard in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mannie. In the 68th minute Doctor Khumalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinito Cifuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinito Cifuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Doctor Khumalo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes. Quinito Cifuentes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Justin might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinito Cifuentes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Justin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Saturnino Justin put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quinito Cifuentes. In the 90th minute, Michael Tobias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergaray Echeto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Colas Gabas made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Uriel Zubiaga however managed to control. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
