Norman-Alexander Wellmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Di Campli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Roman Diel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Selvaggi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Di Campli came free, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Carciofo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Duri come il marmo's Emilio Di Campli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Norman-Alexander Wellmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferruccio Di Campli went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Robert Gerber got a free kick in the 40th minute. FV Wienerwald's Norman-Alexander Wellmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Vittorio in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-André Dospel to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Di Campli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Diel in the 66th minute of play forced Duri come il marmo's goalkeeper Felice Selvaggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Di Campli got free with Norman-Alexander Wellmann in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felice Selvaggi came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FV Wienerwald's Roman Diel. But to his dismay, Roman Diel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FV Wienerwald's Luca Ternes got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ferruccio Di Campli came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Duri come il marmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Di Campli couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre-Yann Kahofer to maneuver through the defense. FV Wienerwald succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Duri come il marmo had controlled the match.
