In the 4th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Venturino to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Júlio Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Juan José J.J. sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes Milanis E.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sezen Taşkın who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on U. de Tarapacá's corner Alonso Venturino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. If Juan José J.J. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Juan José J.J. who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Milanis E.C.'s zone, Juan José J.J. stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto de Azevedo came out of the goal and Juan José J.J. tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. U. de Tarapacá's Paco Raab managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maicon Recife in the 31 minute of the game. Sezen Taşkın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. U. de Tarapacá's Manos Manteca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Pombal in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes in the game, Júlio Pombal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Juan José J.J. who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezen Taşkın to maneuver through the defense. Juan José J.J. recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Pombal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Juan José J.J. shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan José J.J. in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Milanis E.C. defense, Juan José J.J. kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. The Milanis E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Jacinto de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan José J.J., even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Juan José J.J.'s extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto de Azevedo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Paco Raab hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The long shot by Maicon Recife in the 78th minute really tested Manos Manteca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 92 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There was no doubt that U. de Tarapacá were the better team. U. de Tarapacá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
