The audience was convinced that Kai van de Sand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manos Manteca was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Juan José J.J. struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan José J.J. in the 10th minute of play. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Bastian Buchwalder with Joachim Schlagbauer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bastian Buchwalder hit a great ball. Manos Manteca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai van de Sand in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sezen Taşkın during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sezen Taşkın kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Juan José J.J. shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Philipp Haberer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U. de Tarapacá's Manos Manteca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Sezen Taşkın came free, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Manos Manteca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Diel. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan José J.J. in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai van de Sand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Diel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Manteca having to interfere. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Buchwalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan José J.J. in the 42nd minute of play. Juan José J.J. recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Diel to strike the kick off in the second half. Manos Manteca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Diel in the 51st minute of play. U. de Tarapacá's Manos Manteca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Ternes in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes, FV Wienerwald's Jan-André Dospel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manos Manteca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FV Wienerwald reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan José J.J. kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norman-Alexander Wellmann. That made the score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. When Alonso Venturino fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U. de Tarapacá's protests and gave Alonso Venturino a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Venturino. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alonso Venturino hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Kai van de Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan José J.J. during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Juan José J.J.. FV Wienerwald's Patrik Kölblinger was substituted for Björn Gottschling. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. got a free kick in the 78th minute. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Schürhoff in the 79th minute of the match. Joachim Schlagbauer made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luca Ternes. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan José J.J. in the 83rd minute of play. During the 85th minute of the match Juan José J.J. completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juan José J.J. a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Juan José J.J. hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Luca Ternes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FV Wienerwald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
