An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gorbea in the 12th minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Isidor Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Fabian Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Zubiaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Oscar Passet made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Allande Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cuatrodeocho defense, Fabian Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidor Balboa. The Cuatrodeocho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidor Balboa should have stopped the shot. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Reynaldo Cordeiro hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Urki to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Doctor Khumalo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidor Balboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doctor Khumalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Zubiaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Oscar Passet made a huge save. After the first half C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Bernard to make the kick off. Oscar Passet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Tarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Rosario replaced Doctor Khumalo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Gilen during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute of the match Austin Urbina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Passet skillfully saved the ball. Isidor Balboa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Saturnino Justin. But to his dismay, Saturnino Justin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. When Leon Gilen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Leon Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Cuatrodeocho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
