Yan Zhen Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hinnen in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Edmund Niedbalski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer. Lew Maurer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lari Fari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lari Fari in the 10th minute of play forced Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Yan Zhen Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karim Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Wilk. 21 minutes into the game, Damazy Niemojewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skrwa Sikórz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wil 1900 the free kick. After 21 played minutes Skrwa Sikórz got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Niemojewski. Skrwa Sikórz's Yan Zhen Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Hinnen in the 22nd minute of play. Lew Maurer made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Artur Wilk sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Skrwa Sikórz got a freekick which was hit by Zula Jandryca. Yan Zhen Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Edmund Niedbalski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lew Maurer. The goal made the score 2-0. Roland Cirella struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yan Zhen Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wil 1900. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Hinnen was the one to do the kick off. Yan Zhen Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Hinnen in the 52nd minute of the match. Götz Venkataramanappa lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 54th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Götz Venkataramanappa to maneuver through the defense. Lew Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 56th minute of the match. Artur Wilk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yan Zhen Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hinnen in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Skrwa Sikórz got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Kargul. Adam Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yan Zhen Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hinnen in the 65th minute of play forced Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Yan Zhen Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Benoit Lukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 71st minute of play. Lew Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Lew Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Yan Zhen Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Hinnen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zula Jandryca in the 77th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Hinnen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Niedbalski in the 83rd minute of play. Adam Hinnen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Zhen Wei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Artur Wilk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skrwa Sikórz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Wilk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Wil 1900's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
