After recieving a nice pass, FC Wil 1900's Adriano Bollhalder tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wil 1900's zone, Putu Molek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Maurer came out of the goal and Putu Molek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrício Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alípio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hinnen in the 13th minute of play. Alípio Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Gerber in the 14th minute. Joshua Anderhub struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Alípio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wil 1900. Adam Hinnen scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alípio Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karim Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Alípio Magalhães made a huge save. Adam Hinnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Magalhães having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FC Wil 1900's Alípio Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adam Hinnen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alípio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Cirella, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Delta FS's Alípio Magalhães got control of the ball when Joshua Anderhub tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Delta FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Ribas to maneuver through the defense. Karim Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alípio Magalhães made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Karim Gerber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alípio Magalhães, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Miguel Oliveira got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alípio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Anderhub, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Adam Hinnen might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alípio Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Hinnen ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Putu Molek was the one to do the kick off. When Delta FS's Putu Molek in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wil 1900's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Delta FS booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Cirella didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Roland Cirella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led FC Wil 1900's Karim Gerber to a score. 3-0 in the 63rd minute. Lew Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrício Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Popcorn Knoblauch in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alípio Magalhães saved Delta FS from getting behind. Alípio Magalhães came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub. But to his dismay, Joshua Anderhub quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Delta FS's Alípio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Anderhub in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Delta FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Pestana to maneuver through the defense. Roland Cirella struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alípio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wil 1900. 79 minutes into the match, Karim Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alípio Magalhães. Delta FS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karim Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Patrício Saldanha hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Joshua Anderhub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andaka Mellon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lew Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alípio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Hinnen went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
