In the 46th minute Filipe Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Sílvio Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponte do Carro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipa KS the free kick. Sílvio Assunção hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominik Brytka made a kick off. Lipa KS's Alfred Chazen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Guerreiro in the 53rd minute of play. Alfred Chazen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Calado in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Tomasz Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes, Wasyl Mlekodaj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipa KS and the Ponte do Carro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wasyl Mlekodaj kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Lipa KS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Kazanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Lipa KS got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Kazanowski. In the 88th minute, Altino Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Alfred Chazen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Assunção in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Lipa KS got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Kornasiewicz. After 96 played minutes, Ponte do Carro's Cristóvão Caetano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfred Chazen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ponte do Carro reached it. Ponte do Carro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
