Alfred Chazen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alfred Chazen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Hinnen's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Lipa KS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Brytka to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Joshua Anderhub made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Chazen. Lipa KS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugon Tomaka. In the 20th match minute, Lipa KS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Kornasiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Bollhalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Chazen came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Roland Cirella. But to his dismay, Roland Cirella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Cirella in the 33rd minute of play forced Lipa KS's goalkeeper Alfred Chazen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Karim Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Chazen was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Adam Hinnen sped through Lipa KS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfred Chazen. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Lipa KS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Klimkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Adriano Bollhalder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Chazen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Hinnen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Gerber got free with Alfred Chazen in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joshua Anderhub received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfred Chazen came out and tried to block the shot, but Joshua Anderhub slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Dominik Brytka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lipa KS's Alfred Chazen got control of the ball when Joshua Anderhub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tytus Topolski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Adam Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alfred Chazen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Dominik Brytka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Chazen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Gerber in the 68th minute. Hugon Tomaka hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Roland Cirella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Chazen. Lipa KS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Cirella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With 80 minutes on the clock, Tran Brünisholz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Tran Brünisholz got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wil 1900's zone, Dominik Brytka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Maurer came out of the goal and Dominik Brytka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Benoit Lukas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A hard shot by Adriano Bollhalder from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Alfred Chazen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 88 minutes of play, Lipa KS's Hugon Tomaka made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Maurer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lipa KS's Alfred Chazen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipa KS from getting a goal against them. When the match was over FC Wil 1900 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lipa KS throughout the match.
