Gustavo Bernebe was a little too slow when Adam Hinnen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Gustavo Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Hinnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lew Maurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Vo in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe got control of the ball when Karim Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Romulo Bernebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lew Maurer was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 19 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Romulo Bernebe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Maurer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Vo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Hinnen in the 24th minute of play. Gustavo Bernebe made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Adam Hinnen sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe got control of the ball when Adam Hinnen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joshua Anderhub hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Popcorn Knoblauch got free with Gustavo Bernebe in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe got control of the ball when Karim Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Zé Vo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Hinnen made a kick off. Adam Hinnen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Ereinotz in the 55th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes, Adam Hinnen made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Karim Gerber notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe. Gustavo Bernebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amboy FC made a substitution. Rene Lopes replaced Romulo Bernebe. Rene Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Lew Maurer made a huge save. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Anderhub in the 68th minute of play. Zé Vo's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Vo helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Vo. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer got control of the ball when Rene Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Joshua Anderhub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Bernebe. Amboy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Anderhub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Lopes in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Adam Hinnen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Bernebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The audience was convinced that Rene Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lew Maurer was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Gustavo Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Hinnen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Anderhub came free, but Gustavo Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Lopes took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lew Maurer. Lew Maurer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Lopes in the 91st minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Lopes. FC Wil 1900's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
