Amboy FC's Benito Eutor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alípio Magalhães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Delta FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Ribas in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Vo in the 24th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Alípio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Amboy FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Amboy FC's Zé Vo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Bernebe came free, but Alípio Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Marques got free with Gustavo Bernebe in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delta FS's Alípio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Bernebe in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Sixto Ereinotz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alípio Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Delta FS booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaka Mellon in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Vo made a kick off. Alípio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Vo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Zé Vo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alípio Magalhães made a huge save. Gustavo Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Zé Vo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amboy FC's Dalmacio Javiar got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Sixto Ereinotz rounded Delta FS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Zé Vo sped through Delta FS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alípio Magalhães.
