The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lew Maurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 2nd minute of play. Adam Hinnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yan Zhen Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lari Fari lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of FC Wil 1900:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skrwa Sikórz:s goal. In the 13th minute, Roland Cirella made a precise shot to the right of Yan Zhen Wei. Skrwa Sikórz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Niedbalski in the 16th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Skrwa Sikórz's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hinnen came free, but Yan Zhen Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Niedbalski in the 22nd minute of play. Lew Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Jandryca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lew Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Jandryca in the 30th minute of the match. Lew Maurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skrwa Sikórz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriano Bollhalder was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Wil 1900's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Adriano Bollhalder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yan Zhen Wei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Hinnen got free with Yan Zhen Wei in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lew Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Niedbalski in the 37th minute of the match. Yan Zhen Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hinnen in the 38th minute of play. Yan Zhen Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Hinnen went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Lew Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Wilk, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Wilk to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Germano Despland. Artur Wilk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lew Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Hinnen in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Zhen Wei saved Skrwa Sikórz from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's Joshua Anderhub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Zhen Wei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Niedbalski came free, but Lew Maurer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Adam Hinnen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Hinnen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lew Maurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Jandryca in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Zula Jandryca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Anderhub struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Yan Zhen Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wil 1900. FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Niedbalski in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Cirella in the 75th minute of play forced Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Yan Zhen Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Benoit Lukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lew Maurer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Wilk in the 85th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Artur Wilk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lew Maurer, 2-2. Yan Zhen Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Hinnen in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Edmund Niedbalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skrwa Sikórz's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Niedbalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lew Maurer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan Zhen Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Hinnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Wil 1900 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skrwa Sikórz for a fine match.
