Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) After 6 minutes Ponte do Carro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Erdiano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Celedonio Erdiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério did a great save. Reinaldo Calado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altino Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Mascarenhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Conan Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alzaga FC's Conan Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Poças in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Lia in the 33rd minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Jorge Valério to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Calado came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conan Ledesma could save by the left post. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Matias Abella hit a great ball. A long shot from Cristóvão Caetano in the 43rd minute of play was well struck, but Conan Ledesma made a really good save at the right post. Altino Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Conan Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Banegas in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Calado made a kick off. Reinaldo Calado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Placido Lia might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Valério. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Valério made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Placido Lia sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Bustos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Placido Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alzaga FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
