Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ilie Balaci started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Balaci in the 3rd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Leon Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Leon Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Guter charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Guter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vintilă Arieșan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leon Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Rizescu to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Miclescu. 30 minutes into the game, Vintilă Arieșan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leon Roldan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ilie Balaci scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Roldan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Virgil Crăciun got control of the ball when Juan Bittor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Andrei to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Bordat during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ilie Balaci might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Balaci ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Virgil Crăciun came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Cyprian Henryk. But to his dismay, Cyprian Henryk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leon Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Balaci in the 59th minute. When Vintilă Arieșan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Arieșan couldn't finish the play. Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme was substituted for Juan Bittor. Howling Dawn U18's Arturo Cordeiro was substituted for Astor Manilan. 78 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Doru Cârju sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ivan Andrei fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s protests and gave Ivan Andrei a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Andrei kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Ilie Balaci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leon Roldan. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 96th minute, Scott Weiland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Crăciun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Howling Dawn U18 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
