The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moisés Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel da Fonseca in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikolaj Lech in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Couto. Carlos Eduardo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mao Hong Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Mikolaj Lech who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mao Hong Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mao Hong Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Remo Gonçalves notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mao Hong Yang in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Chaves saved Roceira SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mao Hong Yang in the 24th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Stanislaw Domin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remo Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Moisés Novaes made a huge save. Carlos Eduardo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Lech, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Remo Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A wasted opportunity for STAL ST WOLA. 40 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Couto. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Mikolaj Lech ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikolaj Lech to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mao Hong Yang came free, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Cerezo in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, STAL ST WOLA's Damian Hodas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Damian Hodas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of STAL ST WOLA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damian Hodas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Damian Hodas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, STAL ST WOLA's Zygmunt Bielejewski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves got control of the ball when Zygmunt Bielejewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Gustaw Bendyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Gonçalves in the 79th minute of play. Zygmunt Bielejewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Eduardo Chaves came out and tried to block the shot, but Zygmunt Bielejewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Fabiano Couto notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Mao Hong Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Cerezo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The STAL ST WOLA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing STAL ST WOLA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
