The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolis Stasinopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Fetfatzidis in the 9th minute of the match. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis was a little too slow when Cyprian Henryk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Garoa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Giannis Fetfatzidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Fetfatzidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhori Zhobro in the 27th minute of play. Dhori Zhobro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Giannis Fetfatzidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Henryk in the 33rd minute of play. Manolis Stasinopoulos hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor came free and shot a quick shot against goal 48 minutes in the game, fortunately Alkinoos Tsirigotakis had problems saving as it came toward the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When Howling Dawn U18's Cyprian Henryk in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lipochσrion FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 53rd minute Cyprian Henryk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkinoos Tsirigotakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manolis Stasinopoulos was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Stasinopoulos to maneuver through the defense. When Howling Dawn U18's Cyprian Henryk in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Dhori Zhobro got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 74th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Alkinoos Tsirigotakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dhori Zhobro's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dhori Zhobro helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Lipochσrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Dhori Zhobro. Howling Dawn U18's Arturo Cordeiro was substituted for Astor Manilan. In the 79th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. Howling Dawn U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dhori Zhobro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dhori Zhobro made a great header on Lipochσrion FC's corner, it was just that Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan managed to reach the ball for a save. Giannis Fetfatzidis struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Leon Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Weiland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Fetfatzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Leon Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Walme in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Scott Weiland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lipochσrion FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Howling Dawn U18.
