Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ilie Balaci started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Cantona to maneuver through the defense. The União dos 7 FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when União dos 7 FC's Naci Cabezon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Balaci in the 11th minute of play forced União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Arieșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vintilă Arieșan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anísio Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ilie Balaci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anísio Aparecido having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Naci Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Crăciun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Crăciun made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Naci Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Luís Gustavo Monteiro got a free kick in the 38th minute. Alexandru Rizescu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Vintilă Arieșan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anísio Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naci Cabezon to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Felix Ciorănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Albertinho Berger notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Virgil Crăciun. Virgil Crăciun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilie Balaci kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Ilie Balaci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anísio Aparecido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Naci Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Crăciun was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in União dos 7 FC's zone, Ilie Balaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal and Ilie Balaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Ilie Balaci. But to his dismay, Ilie Balaci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After having played for 81 minutes, Ilie Balaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Balaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the União dos 7 FC defense, Ilie Balaci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anísio Aparecido. The União dos 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anísio Aparecido should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Naci Cabezon came free, but Virgil Crăciun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Cârju hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
