The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Roldan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Juan Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Bittor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Leon Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Howling Dawn U18's Leon Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Leme in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Elivélton Soares got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Howling Dawn U18's Uriel Lauren tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Romulo Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Howling Dawn U18's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Clemente Leme scored to the left of an out of position Leon Roldan, making the score, 2-0. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Leon Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Vidal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 48th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tiaguinho da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyprian Henryk made a kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Cyprian Henryk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiaguinho da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cyprian Henryk sent off a good shot on target. Godofredo Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Patrick Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Roldan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Leme in the 72nd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Leon Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho da Cunha having to interfere. The corner led Howling Dawn U18's Uriel Lauren to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiaguinho da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Tiaguinho da Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Howling Dawn U18's Scott Weiland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Howling Dawn U18 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
