The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renatinho Sarmento hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Alketas Nikolopoulos hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Anísio Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Moschogiannis in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Berger got free with Alkinoos Tsirigotakis in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albertinho Berger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Fetfatzidis in the 21st minute of play forced União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Giannis Fetfatzidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anísio Aparecido was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Telis Moschogiannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Telis Moschogiannis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Lipochσrion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telis Moschogiannis couldn't finish the play. União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telis Moschogiannis in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alketas Nikolopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telis Moschogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Telis Moschogiannis in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Giannis Fetfatzidis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game McDonald Hamburger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipochσrion FC's Alkinoos Tsirigotakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes, Giannis Fetfatzidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipochσrion FC and the União dos 7 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Lipochσrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Fetfatzidis. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telis Moschogiannis to make the kick off. Telis Moschogiannis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Anísio Aparecido made a huge save. Giannis Fetfatzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Fábio Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio Aparecido acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alketas Nikolopoulos. Anísio Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Fetfatzidis in the 55th minute of play. Anísio Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Fetfatzidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Giannis Fetfatzidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipochσrion FC's Giannis Fetfatzidis. But to his dismay, Giannis Fetfatzidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Telis Moschogiannis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lipochσrion FC's Alkinoos Tsirigotakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by McDonald Hamburger in the 68th minute of play. Alkinoos Tsirigotakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from McDonald Hamburger in the 70th minute of play. Leopoldo Paranaense's late challenge caught a Lipochσrion FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. Anísio Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telis Moschogiannis in the 81st minute. Telis Moschogiannis's late challenge caught a União dos 7 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telis Moschogiannis helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the União dos 7 FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
