The audience was convinced that Michal Arendarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ieltxu Orbaneja was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After the first half Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abandon All Hope's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermín Gay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alvin Brenner sent off a good shot on target. Erenay Bilkan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Meng Yan Jing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ádám Dobos went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cristiano De La Iglesia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Dobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Cristo Uchiha hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Dedê de Castro. 89 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano De La Iglesia came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ádám Dobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Abandon All Hope supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's performance. The match ended with a win for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara.
